A recital including works by Rossini, Santoliquido, and Hahn by Turkish-Canadian Mezzo Soprano Beste Kalender and Pianist Rachel Andrist will be presented.

The Canadian Premier of IKSV’s documentary on Turkey’s first International Opera Star Leyla Gencer: “Leyla Gencer: La Diva Turca”

The documentary was produced by IKSV (Istanbul Kultur Sanat Vakfi) and directed by Selcuk Metin. Scenario was written by Turkey’s internationally celebrated author, journalist Zeynep Oral. (with English subtitles)
